A Brief About CNAME Record
CNAME Record stands for the Canonical Name Record in the DNS Record.
It is responsible for mapping domains and sub-domain.
If we write a sub-domain in the URL, then also it gets pointed to its respective domain, this work is done by the information stored in the CNAME Record.
For instance :-
When we write “google.com” then it opens www.google.com .
CNAME record never points to an IP address, it is done by the “A Record”. It can only point to other domain.
